The Lubbock  Memorial Arboretum is...

 

  • An exhibit of the best trees, shrubs, vines and other ornamental plants which can be grown in this area
  • A laboratory for studying existing plants and testing, evaluation and experimenting with new plants;
  • A tranquil area with walkways, paths, vistas, and rest sites for the pleasure and education of local citizens and other visitors.

A museum of living plants requires a lot of care and attention, which the arboretum managers can give only because of the thoughtful and continuous help of Lubbock citizens. Your support is a key to maintaining the arboretum's programs.
